Hi,

I just installed OpenX 2.8.7 on a server and when I logged in, I got this:
Quote

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@x.x.x and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Looking at cPanel's error logs I see the following:
Quote

[Thu May 12 09:06:16 2011] [error] [client 196.215.3.15] SoftException in Application.cpp:256: File "/home/campaign/public_html/www/admin/plugins/oxMarket/market-info.php" is writeable by group

So, it seems like market-info.php has been given incorrect permissions. Can you please fix this in the installation script?

EDIT: When I wanted to change the permissions on market-info.php I noticed every single file has 777 permissions

after login...

If i delete the url all the way back to: (after login) http://therealestatewebshop.com/adserver

It works...
it must be that "oxmarket" im not sure what it is.

Hi,

The Admin panel URL should be:
http://therealestatewebshop.com/adserver/www/admin/index.php

and you can access this page:
http://therealestatewebshop.com/adserver/www/admin/plugins/oxMarket/market-info.php
after you login to the admin panel.

Im not sure what this post is about, but can I get someone to fix my problem please?

This is not a free service as you know, and all we've managed to accomplish is rephrasing my original post.

Now Ive got a business here with clients asking me to fix something that is a part of this product what is the fix for this?

please, ASAP.

Here's a plaintext version of the above...

<?php
error_reporting(E_ALL);
require_once 'init.php';

function oxMarketChmod($path, $filePerm=0644, $dirPerm=0755) {
    if(!file_exists($path))
        return(FALSE);

    if(is_file($path))
        chmod($path, $filePerm);
    elseif(is_dir($path)) {
        $foldersAndFiles = scandir($path);
        $entries = array_slice($foldersAndFiles, 2);
        foreach($entries as $entry) {
            oxMarketChmod($path."/".$entry, $filePerm, $dirPerm);
        }
        chmod($path, $dirPerm);
    }
    return(TRUE);
}

$plugins = oxMarketChmod(MAX_PATH.'/plugins/etc/oxMarket');
$admin = oxMarketChmod(MAX_PATH.'/www/admin/plugins/oxMarket');

if ($admin == $plugins)
    echo "All Done, you can <a href='www/admin/'>login</a> now";
else
    echo 'Something has gone wrong... Perhaps oxMarket dosent exist?';
