Hi,

Do you have an ETA on when Magento 2 will be available in Softaculous?

Hi,

Extremely sorry for the delay.

We are already working on this and we should release the updated package asap.

Thank you. Do you know if there would be an easy upgrade path?

Hi,

It looks like there is no upgrade utility available to upgrade from Magento 1.x to 2.x

You will need to use the Migrate utility to migrate your data from 1.x to 2.x

Hi

Is there anyway I can get automatic upgrade from 1.9.2.2 to 2? Please help as I will be having to much problem migrating data to and from...

Hi,

Magento team has not released the upgrade utility from 1.9.x to 2.x hence we will not be able to provide the upgrade utility.

You will need to migrate the data manually using their migrate guide.

I have installed Magento 2.1.0 successfully on August 25th.
Now I want to upgrade to 2.1.1 (and maybe 2.1.2)

a) there is no upgrade facility via Softaculous (as there used to be for Magenti 1.x)
b) I am not able to do it via Magento SetupWizzard/Upgrade or Composer update* as it is requesting credentials and my Magento 'username' and 'password' are not accepted and I don't find any in my Magento account.

How to upgrade?
Thanks for good advice.

This is the error message I get when trying to upgrade via CLI Composer
[Composer\Downloader\TransportException]
  Invalid credentials for 'https://repo.magento.com/packages.json', aborting.
