Topic : Partition Scheme

Hello,

I am interested in setting up some VPS capabilities on my dedicated server. I have decided to use Xen since it seems to be the best option for my clients memory disk and cpu usage. To my understanding with Xen, I won't be able to oversell; giving my clients better service.

I followed the links to the installation documentation for Xen and the first thing mentioned is the Partition Scheme. I have root access but I am not sure if that is just a basic default recommendation of what you should have partitioned or is this the first step to install Xen and Virtualizor?

Currently my partitions are set up as follows.

NAME  MAJ:MIN RM  SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
loop0    7:0        0      4G      0 loop  /tmp
vda      252:0    0      906G  0 disk
└─vda1 252:1    0      906G  0 part  /
vdb      252:16    0        4G    0 disk  [SWAP]

I am hoping I can just skip past this point of partitioning and just install Xen/Virtualizor.

Hello,

Sir, the partition schema is incorrect. Partition schema should be proper for Virtualizor to be functional.

Please open a support ticket and provide us the server details so we can make the partition schema for you.

Regards,
Virtualizor Team.
