Topic : Best software for memorial photo guestbook?

I want to install some software as a memorial for a friend of mine who passed away recently, and I looked at advanced guestbook and other guest books, but they don't seem to be full-featured enough to view on a tablet or phone. I need to be able to view a memorial video on a mobile device,and the guestbooks that I have checked out only have javascript embedding of youtube videos instead of html5, so I am thinking that something authored in HTML5 is what I need, and I was thinking that instead of a guest book with photos and videos, that a gallery with a guestbook, and one that will allow guests to post picstures and videos with admin approval, would be a better way to go. I was hoping that someone here who is more familiar with could help me with an idea for the right software for this installation for my friends memorial.

Hi,

You can install a guestbook in the root of your site and install a gallery in the sub-directory for eg : gallery and link the videos and pictures in the gallery.

thanks for the reply - do you know which available galleries allow embedded videos from youtube that are viewable on mobile devices? coded in html5 would be best

nothing seems to suit my needs that softaculous offers, which is why i asked for help from someone who may be more aware of the available features

If you are aware of any such script that is not available in Softaculous you may give us the link we will review it and add it to Softaculous if possible.
