Not sure what I did wrong but after securing phpmyadmin login with the following guide.
http://www.ampps.com/wiki/Security_Center#Secure_PhpMyAdmin I get this message after logging into phpmyadmin in red at the bottom. Quote The configuration file now needs a secret passphrase (blowfish_secret). I found this article. http://www.question-defense.com/tools/phpmyadmin-blowfish-secret-generator I added the following to line18 of my config.inc.php file yet still get same error when logging into phpmyadmin. Any ideas? I'm a complete noob when it comes to websites / hosting. Quote $cfg['blowfish_secret'] = 'mq1@CMGXBTS+q%[94aG-NKq]nb}7u+Xe9yElZ1Ix'; |

Hi,
Yes. You are doing it right. It is working on our side. Just confirm the path of the config file in which the changes should be made: Path\to\Ampps\phpMyAdmin\config.inc.php e.g. For Windows, C:\Ampps\phpMyAdmin\config.inc.php for Mac OS X, /Applications/AMPPS/phpMyAdmin/config.inc.php ----------------------- Follow AMPPS on, Twitter : https://twitter.com/AMPPS_Stack Facebook : http://www.facebook.com/softaculousampps Google+ : https://plus.google.com/+AmppsStack |
