Did you alter the MX Records for the domain ?
It might cause issues if you've deleted them.

Could you provide the output of the following command:

Root > cat /etc/relayhosts

Turn off the default IPtables for a while.

Code
Root > service iptables stop

I'm talking about a real firewall appliance.  If you don't know it then you I'd rather say u don't haven one.

Tell us about your environment. Is the server directly connected to the internet?

Please execute the command valley posted and tell us the outcome.

This is my first rented VPS so I do not know whether it is directly connected.

I turned off the iptable, but I still get 550 relay not permitted

I sent a ticket Sopport

What does "cat /etc/relayhosts" say?

Try to move vmail_deliver and localuser to the beginning of routers section.

Can you reboot your server for once ? Rare case it would help :D
And make sure you restart your services once the server is up.
