Softaculous insall on xampp, cannot complete install in xampp (2 Replies, Read 1344 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Ok, I tried to install Softaculous into xampp per the instructions found in the knowledge base. Everything seems to go OK until I get to the actual installation part - http://localhost/softaculous/install.php. (c:\xampp\htdocs\softaculous) With that I get the URL not found error. I have multiple sites setup in xampp via vhosts and windows host file. I tried setting it up like that - same thing. I put the softaculous folder under xampp, like phpmyadmin (that works by going to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/) - same thing. What am I going wrong here? ThanksJP

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	I finally got it to install, but after all that hassle I got to pay to install phpBB3? I don't think so. I'll just find another forum to use. Thanks anyway
