Hi,
I just tested both the scripts AjaXplorer and eXtplorer on Remote Softaculous and both worked fine. Can you PM me the domain name and FTP details where you are trying to install I will check it on your server. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |

Hi,
>> Extplorer seemed to install fine, but will not open - just brings up a mostly blank screen with some garbage characters at the top. Can you open a support ticket with us with the cPanel login details we will resolve the issue for you. >> It would be great if there was another, better option for a non-CMS site builder program to install... We will see if we find any other script we will add it as well. Also if you would like to suggest any script we will review it and see if we can add it to Softaculous. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |

Hi,
StatusNet requires a database and for Softaculous remote you will have to create database manually. Have you created the database and does the database user exist and also is the database user assigned to the database ? If you still face the issue please PM me the details I will check it. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |

Quote From : mordant80 February 18, 2014, 10:06 pm I get the same error as the OP. In my cPanel there is a limited amount of software to choose from so I decided to try a remote install from remote.softaculous.com. I setup an FTP account on my domain and added the domain to remote.softaculous.com. The domain added successfully and im fairly certain there's there no misconfiguration there as it's very straightforward. An ftp account with access to my home folder on my domain. I tried to install eXtplorer to test as it does not require a database, but I get the error that it could not connect to the mySQL database. Any ideas? Hi, It works fine now. Let us know if you still face any issues. ----------------------- Follow AMPPS on, Twitter : https://twitter.com/AMPPS_Stack Facebook : http://www.facebook.com/softaculousampps Google+ : https://plus.google.com/+AmppsStack |
