Topic : AMPPS crash on mac when app folder is different than AMPPS

Try to rename AMPPS folder to ex. /Applications/AMPPS3.3 and it will crash upon start.

Hi,

We do not recommend you to change AMPPS name because all paths are set to /Applications/AMPPS/....

If you want to continue with Applications/AMPPS3.3 then you have to start without GUI.

You can start Ampps Apache and MySQL from Terminal.

First you have to manually change path /Applications/AMPPS to /Applications/AMPPS3.3 in Apache, MySQL, PHP, config.

Now Open Terminal and run following commands.

To start Apache
sudo /Applications/AMPPS/apache/bin/httpd

To start MySQL
/Applications/AMPPS/mysql/bin/mysqld
