So I had an issues with AMPPS where I don't think mysql was closed correctly before the computer was shut down resulting in a database error in Joomla.

Received the message "Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error" so double checked the DB's credentials, privileges etc. All looked good - but still no website. Read in the forum here to remove ib_logfile* ibdata* etc from var folder and website should come back on line.

No dice.

I now look at my database and find that a majority of my innodb tables are inaccessible from my database and I receive the error #1146 Table 'xxx' doesn't exist, even though I can see it in the .ibd file.

Deleting the ibdata1 file has completely screwed up my db structure. Yes, my fault for not taking a backup but this leaves me in a pickle. I still have the .frm and .idb files where all the data resides. Is there an way to relink these or somehow reinsert these tables to restore the DB to working order? I have followed a few tutorials online, but they didn't seem to work in my case.

Mysql error log reports 2014-03-25 08:20:54 640 [Warning] InnoDB: Cannot open table db/table from the internal data dictionary of InnoDB though the .frm file for the table exists. See dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/innodb-troubleshooting.html for how you can resolve the problem.

The supplied link does give me much of an indiction on how to fix it.

Greatly appreciate anyone that can assist.
