I had to reset the Ampps settings. After reseting the Apache settings, Apache and mySQL started but now I get 404 errors if I use "localhost/website" vs "127.0.0.1/website"

How can get Ampps working for both localhost and 127.0.0.1 options?

I checked this thread ( http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=4857 ), but my "hosts" file already has 127.0.0.1 localhost in it.

I had two domains installed on AMPPS. When I loaded "localhost", one of the domain software installs was displayed, so I suspected that was the issue. I deleted the domain that was showing up as "localhost" and problem fixed.

Now if I load 'localhost', I get the AMPPS root directory.

I'm not sure why the domain install was affecting the localhost vs 127.0.0.1 ?
