We are introducing enhanced security for Softaculous updates and data exchange through cryptographic digital signatures and verification using RSA and SHA-256.
- Signed & Verified Updates: Softaculous now supports signature verification for update packages and signed API responses, helping ensure data integrity and authenticity.
- CWP Admin Panel Login Fix: Fixed an issue where a recent CWP release changed the session name, causing Softaculous admin panel login validation to fail and display the login page again. Softaculous is now compatible with this change.
These improvements strengthen the security of Softaculous update and communication workflows.
We are working on new features for the upcoming version.
