SSL wont renew

Status:
only localhosts in the hosts file.

After hitting the Renew button on SSL certificates, it hangs at 35% then says :

Error

The specified domain did not resolve to this server: xxx  (it does)

Only 4 digits in the logs , ie, 3446
IP: --
