Hi,

The Softaculous Team has released Softaculous 3.0
This version of Softaculous has some cool new features and the ability to Install Scripts upon Account Creation.

A complete list of changes:

1) Softaculous introduces a new feature in 3.0 - API for Installation of Scripts upon Account Creation. When a hosting account is created, any script of Softaculous can be installed with the new API so that the user can start working on his site straight away.

2) New Category of scripts, MicroBlogs and Social Networking have been added.

3) The Menu which shows the list of scripts will now be collapsed by Default.

4) A "Back to Top" feature has also been added.

5) We have now added capability to add new categories anytime without making a Softaculous Core Update.

6) A bug related to import of scripts when no users existed on the system has been fixed.

We hope you enjoy this version of Softaculous. The capability to Install Scripts upon account creation will enable many hosts to save time as Softaculous will do it for them. We will be launching a WHMCS module for the same very soon.

You can see the installapi.php in your softaculous/enduser folder

The WHMCS module is not ready yet.
But you can install a script by calling the URL in the following fashion :
http://user:password@domain.com:2082/frontend/x3/softaculous/index.live.php?act=software&soft=26&autinstall=1

This will install WordPress in Domain.com
A PHP script is there in /your/softaculous/enduser/installapi.php

This is great news, with ability to auto install on sign up.
The WHMCS will be great.

How about a module (plugin) for the NEW ClientExec 4.0 that just came out (really nice), I am thinking of switching back to it.

Are we looking at new scripts or will you just rearrange current scripts to the new categories?

So far when in cPanel I don't see the categories but I do see them if I go to Softaculous in WHM panel under plugins but I still don't see any scripts.

The timing is ironic because I'm looking for a social script to use for a new social site. Please update us to the current status of any new scripts.

I have Softaculous installed on my InterWorx servers (soon on my cPanel).
Via NodeWorx (similar to WHM) I can see Microblogs, just no scripts attached to it yet, see my screen shot.

Its not yet complete sir.
Even we want to release it.
This month has seen too many updates and our engineers were working on updates.
The WHMCS module is 50% complete and should be ready my mid September.
