Hello guys,

So I've been struggling with this for a while, I am trying to launch a VPS with the IP from a sub network I ordered, the IP is 176.9.179.234.

Routing is enabled, IP is added to the vps, the VPS has the same mac as the node.. still when I ping something from the VPS I get Destination Host Unreachable.

Any idea what am I doing wrong?

Long story short, here are my files:

ifcfg-eth0:
Code
DEVICE=eth0
ONBOOT=yes
HWADDR=14 :D A:E9:EF:69:25
BOOTPROTO=none
IPADDR=176.9.54.42
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
SCOPE="peer 176.9.54.33"
#IPV6INIT=yes
#IPV6ADDR=2a01:4f8:150:742b::2/64
#IPV6_DEFAULTGW=fe80::1
#IPV6_DEFAULTDEV=eth0
# GATEWAY=176.9.54.33

ifcfg-eth0:1
Code
DEVICE=eth0:1
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
IPADDR=176.9.179.234
NETMASK=255.255.255.0

route-eth0:
Code
# routing for eth0
ADDRESS0=176.9.54.0
NETMASK0=255.255.255.0
GATEWAY0=176.9.54.33

Hi,

Please remove the ip which is added as alias on main node.
Are you using Kvm Virtualizor ?
If yes, then generate mac for the ip from Hetzner panel and then add it on Virtualizor panel and then check.
