INTALLING A NEW TEMPLATE IN JOOMLA 1.7 (3 Replies, Read 9815 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 3 Status:	I have installed Ampps successfully. I have also installed Joomla 1.7 with no problems. I have downloaded a new template in ZIP format. I have tried to install it and it did not work. I had an error message. I tried to install it following this procedure: in the backend, I chose Extensions, found the ZIP package on my computer, and command the installation and I had an error message. I had Joomla also installed on a webserver (not a local installation). I did the same thing on it with a new template (the same that I tried to installed locally) and it worked perfectly. Is there something I have to do on the settings of the local server (Ampps) so that it will work? Thanks to anybody who could help! Marcel
