Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Hi there, Currently, we are using Softaculous on our server provided by a hosting company. On our service, backups are limited to 3 per user, with a retention period of 30 days. This means that backups are automatically deleted after 30 days. A few years ago, there was a discussion where users requested a feature that would allow server administrators to configure limits for local and remote backups separately, as remote backups do not impact server resources. Fortunately, this feature was implemented, and server admins can now leave unlimited remote backups for users. However, there is still a problem with the backup deletion frequency setting: it applies to both local and remote backups. As a result, if administrators set a policy to purge local backups after 30 days, it also removes all remote backups, which is not ideal. It doesn’t make sense for administrators to automatically delete remote backups stored on users' third-party FTP or cloud storage. Could you please develop a solution to allow the backup deletion frequency to be configured separately for local and remote backups, similar to how the backup limits are handled? Thank you!
