Hi,

Altering the TTL on the "default._domainkey.domain_name." entry in the DNS template fails with error "Invalid selector in name field"

Sounds like the entry is being validated if it were a real DNS zone instead of a template.

Is there a file I can edit to find this?

for anyone else having issues editing the dns template, you can directly edit the file
