So in ampps I have uncommented the ldap line in php. I am using the PHP5.3 that came default on ampps.

I am using buddypress on wordpress and having trouble connecting to our active directory on our intranet network.

It keeps on giving me error /Ampps/php/ext/php_dap.dll ro ldap.so could not be found

Any clues or am I asking in the wrong section. I read on other forums that it was an issue with PHP5.3. Just want to confirm if it is? If so, what version of php should I be using?
