 How to setup muliple domains (2 Replies, Read 1939 times)

I wish to use ampps to develop & maintain several websites offline.  What is the correct way of setting up multiple website in ampps?  (i.e. have added john.com, sue.com and ben.com as domains but only john.com is available).

Hi,

Go to Add Domain (http://localhost/ampps/index.php?act=ampps_domainadd) :

1. Enter the domain name.
2. Check for "Addon".
3. Enter the Domain Path.
4. Go to Advance Setting -> Check for adding an entry to hosts file.
5. Wait for Apache to Restart.

Repeat above steps for all three domain.

If for some reason host entry is not added. You will have to add an entry manually in hosts file. In Windows its located in C:\Windows\System32\driver\etc\hosts and in Mac, /etc/hosts
