Hi,

I love AMPPS, but I am very annoyed by the "Control Center" window which is always open (see screenshot for what I am referring to).

Is there a way to DISABLE this window, while still keeping the AMPPS icon in my menu bar? I can access everything I need form the menu bar and I don't like polluting my command-tab list with unnecessary apps.

I'm sure that what he means is that the program always visible in the dock, and menu bar.

For a programs/utilities that run 'behind the scenes' etc, things like dropbox, f.lux, istat menus etc, they usually just have a menubar icon, they do not stay visible in the dock.
Some programs let you choose for them to stay in the dock, menubar, or both, sometimes even none, like 'popclip'.
For the apps that after running are completely hidden, the app is simply run again to get up the window, to change options etc.

Now, I am not saying that AMPPS for mac has to be like other programs... but I do think that it is a reasonable request to make AMPPS fit to the system like other programs do, and not to be the odd one out.

As far as feature requests go, I do not imagine that letting the user hide the application in the dock would be a big task. If AMPPS is open source I can even try myself, I haven't done any mac development before though :)

Thank you very much!

also - to FORCE the dock icon to be hidden -
I simply edited /Applications/AMPPS/Ampps.app/Contents/Info.plist
and added 'LSUIElement' with a value of '1'

the window is annoyingly still visible though :)

anyway, thanks for all the work on ampps!
