2021 has been a great year at Softaculous!! We added some great features, fixed bugs and released new products. As we bid goodbye to 2021 lets review the major changes this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New UI for Enduser and Admin panel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This year we revamped the User Interface for enduser as well as admin panel of Softaculous. The new UI gives Softaculous a modern look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Added support for AWS S3 and Microsoft OneDrive Backups<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Users can now backup their installations to AWS S3<\/a> or Microsoft OneDrive<\/a> with just a click. The locations are addition to our existing remote backup locations Google Drive<\/a>, Dropbox<\/a>, WebDAV<\/a>, FTP, FTPS and SFTP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Added more Features to the WordPress Manager <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If we compare WordPress Manager<\/a> since its first release back in October 2020, it has evolved from a basic manager to advanced level with new options like
– Plugins Management<\/a> & Themes Management <\/a>
which allows users to activate\/deactivate\/remove existing plugins\/themes. Install new plugins\/themes from wordpress.org or by uploading zip file.

Scripts Updates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, we
– Added some new scripts<\/a> which include Flarum, Flatboard, WinterCMS, QloApps
– Removed some outdated scripts
– Released 1500+ script updates<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Released AMPPS v4<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This year we released AMPPS <\/a>v4 for Windows. We have rewritten the complete code to make AMPPS faster and more dynamic which will allow us to release app updates like PHP, Apache, MySQL, etc within as soon as one day after the vendor releases it. We will be releasing AMPPS v4 for Mac by early next year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AMPPS is a software stack by Softaculous with Apache, MySQL, PHP and Softaculous auto installer on desktops and office servers for local development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHMCS WordPress Manager<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We are working on a WHMCS WordPress Manager hook which will allow users to manage their WordPress sites including plugins and themes management from within their WHMCS client panel without even having to login to cPanel. This hook is in the final stages of testing and will be released by early next year. Stay Tuned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
