Trying to install a copy of my live website into Ampps - I am using the Akeeba Installer which is disallowing my dbase parameters ( already setup in phpmyadmin ) the message is "no database definitions were found or no database was selected ".
Detail:
database type = mysqli
database server host name = localhost
username = alvin_dbase
password = XXXXXXXX
dbase name = dbase001

Would be grateful for some help (ie is 'localhost' the correct hostname ?)
Also would like to know if there is an easier way to import my site into Ampps ?
Thanks
