Having briefly seen Softaculous in the past on a dedicated server used for webhosting ( by webhoster) together with a CPanel webhoster's clients could easily - logging into  their own client account - from their own 'admin panel section' (self-service) one-click deploy Softaculous applications and easily set up domainname websites without webhost's assistance. Addons to CPanel make billing and customer support tickets etc also very easy.

This client self service facility needless to say makes a very efficient webhosting business possible. Softaculous is great !

Seriously considering using Webuzo on Amazon EC2 to host a few own websites and - increasingly - some third party client websites (webhosting) I have problems visualizing the client's user experience and fully understanding possible limitations compared to the above dedicated server + CPanel + Softaculous self service and (client account/admin panel use) scenario.

Installing third-party admin panels (e.g. CPanel or others?) seems to be impossible on a Webuzo EC2 server nor CPanel compatible add-ons etc. adding to our concerns!

Are we missing something here or can we with Webuzo (not) create self service client accounts (plus access to part of the Webuzo panel) so they can one click launch applications etc. and take care of their own 'environment/account'?

Or is the webhoster's client user functionality limited to an (admin) log-in in the webapplication itself (e.g. Drupal / WordPress) after all of this has first been manually installed and set up by us through the Webuzo panel ?

What additional third party add-ons are other Webhosters using with Amazon EC2 / Webuzo to operate an efficient webhosting business ?

Thank you!
