I have a shared hosting account. My web host has installed Softaculous. I am quite pleased with Softaculous; I have used it several times, and I find it to be a valuable tool.
I would like to use my website to support a Subversion repository. Subversion is not an option in my host's Softaculous catalog. When I do a search, however, I find that Subversion is supported by Softaculous (see www.softaculous.com/webuzo/sysapps/version_control/Subversion).
So, how does this work? If I ask my web host to add Subversion to its Softaculous catalog, can they comply simply by modifying their configuration? Or will they have to pay an additional fee to Softaculous? Or upgrade their subscription? Or what? I'd like to know the implications before I make any request.
