Hi  :P
I have a VPS managed by Webuzo because my hosting company use Webuzo as Control Panel and i love it (I'm waiting for antispam - autoreply email and other thinks)..

BUT I want ask you one think..
When a server VPS is generated from my hosting company i see there is an email issue.. I'M the user, i log in in webuzo and configuring email address.

Email are not sended as myname@mydomain.ext but as return pach admin@hostingdomain.ext for myname@mydomain.ext so first time i had asked to the hosting provider to fix this and they done.

Now I'M asking for inser rDNS, when this is inserted by my hosting provider mail are again sended from admin@mydomain.ext

Maybe is this an issue in webuzo?
Is not good i think.. and are causing me many troubles.. for now i have ticket opened on my hosting company for fix this.

Do you have a solution?
Why.. if i configure my email address in webuzo for the first time mail are sended from admin alias followed after @ by hosting domain - and now if i ask to inser rDNS mail are sended from admin@mydomain.ect is this not an webuzo issue?

There is a way I, user can fix it or i need ask to the hosting company?

Webuzo Admin Panel >> Settings >> From Email Address

sorry but this not solve my issue.

The from email addres is the email from where i receve webuzo update email.
My problem is different.

I will see with my hosting company and then maybe if i have more question i will ask here.

Email sent from Roundcube by my email addres are not sent from my email address but from admin account, this is the issue.

Do you remember what email address you used while making the Wordpress/Roundcube installation ? Probably that is being used.
You can contact Wordpress/Roundcube to change the email address in the respective configurations.

Sorry but i feel to explain me better.

For me keep VPS server managed by Webuzo update is very important, that is why i had asked to add an update comand in Webuzo and you have done this.

I have updated my server maybe also Apache, OpenSSL, Dovecot etc.. after this i have see STARTTLS certificate for inbound email has stopped to work not only in one server but two different server who made update recently - I'M not sure is this the cause but I relly think can be -

Thanks to your support, after several days of trouble I managed to solve the problem STARTTLS generating new certificate for exim and dovecot.

Now i see in two different server this issue of admin email sended as email bounce who never exist before.

Also email sent from my Thunderbird client is sended to SPAM folder and i have checked the SPAM quality level here: http://www.mail-tester.com/ and i have the almost perfect score for good emails 9/10 but emails are sended as Bounce.

If i send from Thunderbird wmail seems to be send not from admin but from real email address but for same reason arrive in all SPAM client folder.. because there is something wrong also in the web when i send emails from Wordpress or RoundCube.

Mail sent from Wordpress by Wordfence plug in but also from Alo EasyMail Newsletter are all sent by Bounce admin@mydomain.ext for myrealaddress@domain.ext

sorry but this is not RoundCube issue or Wordpress Issue.. can be something changed in OpenSSL or PHP or Apache i don't know.. Dovecot or Exim...?

I'M also checking with hosting company what is wrong but for now not finded the solution.

Hi,
it seems I'M unable to solve this issue.

Mail sent from mail server, webmail Squirrel and Client Mail ThunderBird are sent correclty.
Mail sent with RoundCube or Wordpress like newsletter or  update notification from various plug in are sended as admin@mydomain.ext for myrealemailaddress@domain.ext

What can be, a PHP issue or what?
I can't believe can be Wordpress and Roundcube the issue.

No idea how to understand this and fix, please?

it seems issue are when email are sended with php as php mail. So email are sent from admin@mydomain.ext for myrealmail@domain.ext how can i fix this?

Email works only if is autenticated with SMTP

I don't know how to fix php mail for work well.

I use Hesk Open Source Help Desk, i see if in the setting i set email to go out with SMTP authentication, mail are sent well, if i set php mail i see email from admin@domain.ext for myrealemail@domain.ext .. i don't know ho to fix this and i have this issue with two different server with Webuzo.

if can be php mail sendmail issue as i think how i can fix?

I don't know how to fix for make email sended correctly not just from one email adress but from all.

thanks, once in var/exim/log
with ls i can see the file but how about read?

I have to use .vi / or other command for read?
I have to read for this problem the mail.log file?

Ok tried all log command but i don't understand exim log. Maybe i see a lot of deny messages that because i have set in exim some ruole for chek into barracuda and other list for bloc spam as webuzo can't help for now to protect myself from a lot of spam.

I don't see any other particular log who can make me understand my issue.
I will see again with hosting provider and webuzo premium support.

Semms i can't find a solution there in the forum for now.

OK UPDATE,
i have asked help to my hosting company and they after editing my server file has find a solution with you i think to insert into exim.conf

"trusted_users = admin" placed in the line under "never_users = root"
so now email are nomore sended by admin account but from the right account.

In this edit now i have a new problem (and is not this edit to generate this problem)
when i send email from Hesk open support ticket system using SMTP settings with TLS some times mail are sended if SSH password has been reset or exim.conf has been edited, it works only for first email so i open a new ticket or reply to a ticket and works, if i write other reply or open other ticket it stop to work.

I know is not exim issue because i have watched the code in exim and is the same code i have in other server who has not this problem.

I have to look into exim log?
I don't know how to do, i have looked on the internet i finded this command

# less /var/log/messages



# more -f /var/log/messages



# cat /var/log/messages



# tail -f /var/log/messages



# grep -i error /var/log/messages

but maybe are not right command for example:

tail -f /var/log/messages
can be not correct for watch exim log maybe the correct form can be  tail -f /var/log/exim/mail.log but if i try this i see nothing.

I have tried to ask help by support ticket with root access to my server but you told to look into internet and now as i follow your suggestion i'm unable to login by SSH to the server
