 Malfunctions, Some Scripts Don't Install (3 Replies, Read 2956 times)

Joomla 1.7 says it installs but displays this error when going to the site:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CLASS in
/home/site/public_html/dir/includes/version.php on line 17(Joomla 1.5 installs correctly)PyroCMS installs but displays a blank page frontend and backendConcrete5 says it requires PHP5.1 after installing it This server has PHP 4.4.9 and 5.3.6 .Apache 2.0 which the Joomla site says meets the minimum requirements to run Joomla 6 & 7 versions. SuEXEC is on. Ioncube installed. It has been running Joomla5 & 6 successfully, without any issues, installed through another library which has not offered Joomla7 yet.  So I have not tried installing 7 through any other avenue than Softaculous which has failed.I have run updates on the Softaculous software numerous times over the past 24 hours to be sure it had all the files.Still running into this brick wall. Please advise.

Sir, did you make the changes in Softaculous admin panel for suEXEC.

http://www.softaculous.com/docs/SuPHP_Settings[/quote] Chmod done per the above instructions.  Now the only way Softaculous can be accessed is if I access the Cpanel through WHM's link beside the account.  The icon appears when accessing Cpanel directly, but clicking on it merely refreshes the page.sigh
