Is there a way to automate site and database backups using the backup tool? I would like to have my sites backed up automatically every so many days.

It is great that this has now been implemented. However it looks like it is only available for new installations.

Is there a way to add autobackup to existing installations?

Hi,

Adding Automated backups for the existing installations will be added to the Edit Installation page in Softaculous 4.2.7 which will be out within a week.

Hi There,
For some reason with my install, the automatic backups don't seem to be working. All I get are emails that say the following:

X-Powered-By: PHP/5.3.27
Content-type: text/html

Please provide some input.

The path that is in the cron job page in cpanel is the one that softaculous created.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

For some reason it seems the utility is not receiving any input.

Can you please PM me the CRON command in your cPanel.
