New installation not working

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	New installation on Windows 2008 Standard server - installed yesterday. Will not hit localhost or loop-back. The AMPPs startup window shows Apache icon as green and the info window at the bottom shows Apache as started; other options are grayed out. If I click start, there is not change. But the MySQL status is started and icons look different, that is, Start is grayed out and Stop and Restart are available. This leads me to believe that, of course Apache is not running and something else is squatted on port 80. What's the best way to determine?
