Hi
I have tryed to install softaculous, i did everything the doc install says but it isnt showing up in manage plugins in WHM

Just a thought have you tried logging out and back in of whm so it reloads the page or do a ctrl+f5?

Can you confirm the following file exists:
/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/addon_softaculous.php

  Hi,

I've just set up a dedicated server with WHM and Cpanel,
I really want to have softaculous available for all accounts.

I've tried to install but had no luck yet,
I've been on PuTTy and connected fine, I typed in
"cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cg" and clicked return which came up with a new line.
I then did "wget -N http://www.softaculous.com/ins/addon_softaculous.php" and it ran quite a few lines and looked like it did something,
however when I typed in "chmod 755 addon_softaculous.php" it did nothing.

Is there a way I can check to see if the file uploaded or have I not done something?

We've been running on a shared server for over a year, but I'm new to this side of things and any help would be gratefully received

It's come up at the very bottom of the list, I was expecting it to come up in the plugin section, but it has a new box at the bottom left of WHM,

Hopefully this might help someone else anyhow :D

The bottom left is the Plugins section and it should be there only.

Bingo, this answered my question - didnt show up on the manage plugins at all, but the left side bottom of the links.
