cant update some scripts, error "Could not SAVE latest file" (6 Replies, Read 4226 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Working Member Posts: 160 Status:	Got this: Zen Cart Software not found.....Needs Update Deleting previous files...... Fetching Latest File......Could not SAVE latest file......Continuing can you put a functionality in softaculous to update only some selected script but will not make the others disabled? for example, i want to check zencart only because it didnt update, but if i uncheck the others, it will be removed from softaculous. If i check everything again, it will take so much time since all scripts are being checked for the latest version. How do I resolve this without having to check all scripts again for update?

Group: Administrator Post Group: Super Member Posts: 2280 Status:	Hi, Softaculous will update only those scripts which you have checked. Otherwise the other scripts will be removed. The check boxes are for offering that script or not. I experienced this problem too Yes the check box is for activating/deactivating the script. if its not checked, it will be removed Can you add another option like another checkbox beside the existing checkbox to just refresh some installation? So if we encounter an error in the update, we will just check the scripts that had errors and only those scripts will be updated without deactivating the others I hope you get what i mean. thank you

Group: Administrator Post Group: Super Member Posts: 2280 Status:	Hi, Sir, you will get a log of all the sync errors and successes. Even if it fails it will retry it when the next time the CRON runs. For immediate update, just click on "Update Settings". It will start checking for outdated and missing scripts. You can run that any time you want. Regards, Alons That is what im trying to say, i hope you understand it If i check everything again and click on update setting, sometimes this one script is fixed, but this is causing another issue for another script, then i have to check everything again and run update scripts again.. you see it is a repetitive task and very time consuming Please fix this ASAP such that i can select a specific script to be updated without removing the other scripts

Just let your selection be as it is and click on "Update Settings" It will update only those scripts that are selected. Also the Checking is not for immediate update.
