Hi,

I've DirectAdmin with php-cgi (fastcgi). Of course, ionCube is also installed. But when I give the installation of the module in the cli shows:

root@andromeda:/usr/local/directadmin/plugins# /usr/local/bin/php /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/install_softaculous.php
Site error: the file <b>/usr/local/directadmin/plugins/softaculous/images/main/functions.php</b> requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator.root@andromeda:/usr/local/directadmin/plugins#


I've php5.

Sir,

ionCube is not installed properly.
You can check for errors by the following commnad:
root> php -i

It will show errors in the beginning of the output.

Okey, so I've PHP Version => 4.4.9 on CLI and php 5 as cgi.

Configuration File (php.ini) Path => /usr/local/lib/php.ini (for php 4)
In this file I have:
[PHP]
enable_dl = Off
[Zend]
zend_extension = /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so

So this should work? But dosen't. Can u help me? This is my 2nd license, on 1st server I don't have any problems with installation (there I have only php 5 as cgi).

I turned off PHP4 support. Installation went without a problem now.

I'm having this same issue, only with Cpanel.  Any ideas?  Everything looks correct...

Site error: the file /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/enduser/main/functions.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

php -m|grep ionCube

-RETURNS THE FOLLOWING:

ionCube Loader
the ionCube PHP Loader

Nevermind, I clearly fail at reading instructions:

"Note: Before starting the installation make sure ionCube Loaders are enabled. For that go to WHM and click on Tweak Settings. Please make sure that the Ioncube loader is selected for the backend copy of PHP. "
