We have a number of VMs where the network has dropped, when rebooting, the VM is not getting DHCP. We are having to force DHCP, but at times, even that is not working and we are having to disconnect the network via Proxmox and re connected the virtual network devices. Then force DHCP to get the IP back. When we check for DHCP traffic, none comes through. Any ideas? We have Virtualizor on Proxmox.
Also if we create a manual VM via Proxmox the issue does not occur.

Hi Sir,

May I know if all the VMs are Windows VPS?

Also, have you enabled the “Use Windows Configuration Script” option in the master settings?
If not, please enable this option, then edit the VPS, stop and start the VPS, and check again.

Note: Windows VPS should not be shut down.

Virtualizor may be assigning a type of virtual NIC driver (VirtIO or Realtek) that the VM does not initialize in time at boot, resulting in missing the initial DHCP request.
