Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	Hi, I am trying to install prestashop 9 and Im getting the following error . Can you help me please? Unable to generate new_cookie_key, hence can not install PrestaShop.

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	This error usually means the installer cannot write the config file. Check if the /config and /var folders have write permission. Set them to 755 or 775 depending on your server. Also confirm that your host allows the PHP openssl extension, since PrestaShop uses it to create the cookie key. After you apply the changes, run the installer again. If it still fails, clear the install folder and start fresh.
