Sir please understand Softaculous needs money to grow and survive. People are willing to pay for other Auto Installers and install Softaculous simulatneously. Its a move to let people know Softaculous is 100 scripts.
Sir the point of having so many scripts is to satisfy the needs of many users at the same time. All servers are not able to suite all the 100 scripts and hence a script or two may not work. But we are here to make it work and to look into individual servers requires a great support team.
Please note again existing Licenses will be treated as PREMIUM LICENSES. You neednt pay a BUCK till 31st December 2010.
Softaculous had to take this move as its requiring a lot of financing which is not at all being recovered.
And we have kept a FREE Version having 58 scripts.
It may be cheaper to pay yearly for one server but I should have that option to pay monthly. I will pay more.
Who says nobody will?
Do you think I really care about paying more when I pay quite a bit for my servers, billing systems, and other things? I care about my clients and our company's well being.
I am not going to pay for 3 or more yearly licenses if I get that many servers. $72/year..forget that.
Its easier to license 3 vps servers or 3 dedicated servers when I pay monthly so I do not have to keep extra yearly licenses without them being unused by a vps client.
I plan on offering VPS Servers in the near future.
I do not care about running something that was free forever and not free anymore.
I will remove it from my server now if I cannot pay monthly.
The reason why I do not go with fantastico directly is because I want monthly. The reason why I use Installatron is because I can do monthly.
Sorry for the edits. I am really tired and its early in the morning.
