Softaculous

Topic : Suite CRM version

Hi everyone,

I installed Suite CRM version 8.2.3 a few months ago. Browsing the Softaculous catalog I see that the Suite CRM 3.4 version has been released.

How can I proceed with the update? Softaculous doesn't show me the automatic update.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are unable to provide upgrade utility in SuiteCRM as they do not have GUI based upgrade. It can only be done by CLI and Softaculous does not have right of user's server to access CLI.

If anyone encounters permission errors during the installation phase, can solve it with this command:

chmod +x ./bin/console

Is it possible to install a version other than version 8? I need to install version 7.14 and not 8.4

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We won't be able to provide SuiteCRM 7.14 as a branch as it seems there won't be future update in 7.x branch.

We have provided SuiteCRM 7.14 as a branch. You can install both versions. Let us know if you need any assistance.
