I just installed Ampps on Win764 machine, and when I try to start apache, nothing happens.  No error or anything.

So reading, I tried to start it manually, but a get a port 443 error as follows
Quote

C:\Program Files\Ampps\apache\bin>httpd.exe
(OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port)
is normally permitted.  : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

and running netstat on port 443 gave the following
Quote

C:\Users\E022796>netstat -aon | findstr 0.0:443
  TCP    0.0.0.0:443            0.0.0.0:0              LISTENING      3276

Any idea?

I was able to resolve this by uninstall a few other programs that I think were causing the conflict.

I'm pretty sure it was either phped or vmware that caused the conflict.
