1) On my fresh AMPPS and Joomla 1.7.1 installs, when I run Joomla, I get a bunch of errors like this:
"Strict
Standards: Accessing static property JCache::$_handler as non static in
C:\Program Files\Ampps\www\joomla\libraries\joomla\cache\cache.php on
line 420"
To fix it, I have to manually edit a couple of settings in Ampps\apache\php.ini to look like this:
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_DEPRECATED
display_errors = Off
Could the Joomla script installer be updated to include the above values in the apache\php.ini file?
2) I noticed that on a fresh AMPPS Joomla install, the default settings on the entire joomla directory tree, the Windows "Users" group is granted Full Control permissions to everything. While I understand that this setting will allow everything to install OK and run smoothly, isn't this a potentially dangerous security issue on a production site? Now, if this security setting is meant for a development environment, it would be nice to also include a script installer for a Joomla production environment with the recommended Joomla production site permissions.
