Hi there,

I am using Kimai installed via Softaculous (cPanel) and it works great.

Only issue is updates, each time I want to update the installation, I have to remove the Kimai install (keeping the DB and files), then reinstall latest version, manually change some config files and customizations and run "bin/console kimai:update" via ssh.

From the Kimai documentation:
"Be warned that Softaculous does not yet provide updates of Kimai"

Is this feature in the pipeline?

It would really make things a lot easier and allow me to keep my Kimai installation up to date.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We tried to add Upgrade utility in Kimai but they only provide CLI upgrade method which is not possible via Softaculous.
There is no GUI method. Upgrade is only possible via manual migrations.
