Hello,...just followed the instructions for a "Plesk-Linux" installation...but after hitting this line "/usr/bin/php /usr/local/install_softaculous.php" ...i only got an error -->

Hello Alons,

thx...this works...but i have another question....i had to switch safe mode=Off globally in my php.ini file. The problem is that this will have a reaction to all of my settings on my dedicated server. I just want to tell this script that php safe mode is off. How can i do that...because after installation, when i switch safe mode to on in the php.ini and i will start the Sofacolous Panel in my Plesk Admin Panel i got an error site which tells me : "ERROR LOADING DATA".

Another thing i realized is that my Cron always says :

PHP Warning:  Module 'ionCube Loader' already loaded in Unknown on line 0
[Sun Jan 24 15:30:01 2010] [warn-phpd] The ionCube PHP Loader is disabled because of startup problems. (pid xxxx)


I looked for another file named "ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so" but didn't find any on my server. So why does the cron tell me that another version is installed maybe ? How can i solve this one ?

Safe Mode is deprecated in PHP 5.3.0.
So we recommend not using safe mode.

Just check the folder /var/softtmp ownership and file permissions. It should be psaadm:psaadm 0755

For the ionCube there may be a second .ini file / directory.
Run this:
/usr/bin/php -i

It will let you know of any additional ini files being parsed.

It looks like the data is not being written in the /var/softtmp folder.
Can you paste the owner of that folder ?
