 Webuzo Panel Configuration, Hostname / Panel Domain entry (1 Replies, Read 170 times)

hostname is listed by the hosting company interserver: vps______
Webuzo asks for Hostname / Panel Domain in the configuration.
I entered vps_____. [domain name.com] which did not get an error afterwards.
Is this correct?Do I need to enter anything at godaddy for registration.(I am forwarding the domain A record to the vps ip address and added the domain to my domain list)
(Is it alright that I am using this forum or is this too simple and should be checking with the hosting company?)
I like webuzo on my vps.So far it provides everything I need.

Yes, that is correct. You can use the hostname provided by InterServer as the Hostname in Webuzo.

Please note that you cannot use your main domain name directly as the hostname. The hostname should be a subdomain, such as `vps.example.com` or `server.example.com`.

You do not need to register the hostname separately with GoDaddy. Just make sure the A record for the hostname points to your VPS IP address.
