I also discovered when the "free" Softaculous license expires "with no warning" that if you are still trying to troubleshoot and install "Softaculous" that you cannot install it anymore. I was getting "cannot write" errors until I reconfigured my network with a new IP and then it installed with no issue.
I know in my last post I was firm in my comments, but I need to convey that not all of us on this forum are "noobs" to server configuration and setup. Much of the documentation and forum posts overlap other products, such as, Webuzos, Virtualizor, Ampps, remote softaculous, which can get confusing.
That is why I feel a simple install and putting in a ticket is not the "catch all" solution. In fact, I thought the forum was designed to clearly show others what the common issues and solutions were, but when you move to a ticketing solution only this defeats the purpose of the forum.
I would hope common problems and solutions would be posted more on the forum and less "please open a ticket" because there are those of us who do not like giving full control and access to our servers for the reasons listed in my last post.
