Been beating my head against a wall for 3 days trying to get Ampps setup on Ubuntu (the wiki is garbage). I almost have it, the last hiccup is that when I try to load my site (www.somesite.com) or use just "localhost" it throws the "Secure Ampps" page. I have seen this in Windows, I usually click submit, to leave it unsecured, and exit and then load my site again, and I never see it again. But in Ubuntu every time I try to load my site it shows up. The submit is not submitting.

I suspect that Ampps doesn't have permission to change some config file.  So what I need to know is what line in what file needs to be changed manually so I can get this to work?

While digging around for the file I needed, for changing the setting manually, I saw the "install.sh" in the /usr/local/ampps folder and for the fun of it I ran it. And guess what the "Secure Ampps" page ran one more time and all is well.

Once I figure out one more thing I may make a post on how to setup Ampps on Ubuntu, as it is not a simple process.
