I just reinstalled to new hardware, then updated my licenses and made old server the slave.Everything works fine other than the WHMCS API module commands.I have disabled the old server config and tried creating a new one. When I enter the domain name on testing I get
Code
FAILED: Could not connect to Virtualizor. Please make sure that all Ports from 4081 to 4085
If I change domain name to IP address the test works ... but then all commands are trying to send https:<IP Address> which won't work as SSL is for DNS.

If this is a connection from WHMCS to Virualizor Master, make sure that there is no iptables / firewall issue and that you can connect to all the necessary ports used by virtualizor. The firewall issue could be on WHMCS side or Virtualizor side, so check both.

Thanks. I finally found out what happened, the virtualizor vps id changed when I installed virtualizor and then added the slave which then ended up that WHMCS wasn't passing the right id over.

Hm, that does not explain the errormessage to me, but great that it´s working again for you.
You can prevent the id changes in such scenario if you backup and restore the master db to the new master. (or evac all vm from the master to a temp slave before removing the master, the slave then would become master automatically while preserving all id.)

You're right the error isn't resolved unless I add the IP address in the IP field but when clicking on the link 'Virtualizor admin panel' it still goes to IP address instead of domain name which forces uses to accept incorrect ssl.

I would replace the link in the module with your domain instead of ip. But then you need to remember the changes when the next release of the WHMCS module comes outand repeat them.

I tried that but the IP address field only lets you enter a IP not a domain name. If you try and replace the IP with a domain you get an error on trying to save.

Where are you trying to do that? I´am talking about the WHMCS module sourcecode.

Gotcha thanks for the advice. I was thinking through the front end not the back end.
