Group: NOC Post Group: Newbie Posts: 3 Status:	We recently had a client open a ticket claiming that we had been hacked and that people ad defaced our server with links to child pornography. After getting more details we found that the links were on the demo of the VX Guestbook at http://www.softaculous.com/demos/VX_Guestbook As admin details were posted I was able to login and remove these posts clearing up the issue with this particular client however it opened up our minds to whether or not we should link to these open demos where spam can run rampant and to all subjects. I feel that we as the admin users of softaculous should have the ability to disable access to these demos through the whm admin screen and also that the login details to these demos be protected in some way. Maybe that dreaded captcha should be added or require a forum account to gain access. Something that would prevent this again in the future.
