Hi,

There is an api issue in Mac OSX 10.9, it seems there is a change in api or its been updated.
Normally AMPPS while starting apache asks for authorization, but its not working, that is why you cannot start apache from AMPPS Control Panel. But you can start and stop Apache from terminal by running the following commands,

sudo /Applications/AMPPS/apache/bin/httpd -k start and sudo /Applications/AMPPS/apache/bin/httpd -k stop

The solution to start Apache from AMPPS Control Panel for Mac OSX 10.9 will be released soon.

Is there gonna be soon a fix for this Mavericks problem ? The temp solution works but not in this case:

As my major database is Postgres, i need to load the pdo_pgsql module. Using the control panel i can change PHP config and it works on with apache. However, PHP CLI doesn't work. I tried to add a php.ini into /etc but searching other post it's recommended not doing so because AMPPS will replace that file. It said that just use the CP to change config and then restart Apache, AMPPS with take care of the rest. But for now as we all know, we cannot restart the Apache using CP anymore.

I was running into the same issue. Works fine after stopping apachectl and then running the server from the code below.

sudo apachectl stop  //stop default apache on osx
sudo /Applications/AMPPS/apache/bin/httpd -k start  // start the server shipped with ampps
sudo /Applications/AMPPS/apache/bin/httpd -k restart //everytime u change settings

Also make use of the option in "add domain" where you can add the record to the hosts file. It can fix a lot of resolving issues.

Try to restore your config file via the control panel and also set the php version and then running
sudo /Applications/AMPPS/apache/bin/httpd -k restart

Hi,

We have back ported AMPPS 2.1 to work with Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks. Now AMPPS Apache can be started directly from the GUI.

For users who are already using AMPPS 2.1, we have a patch available here.
