While running Ampps (either 5.2 or 5.3) so far I have been totally unsuccessful trying to integrate the appropriate xdebug dll in ultrastudio or ultraedit (which of course is possible in wamp)
It´s like the editor is not even aware of Ampps
Is this possible by the way?
Also om Ampps home on phpmyadmin you get on the bottom
"A newer version of phpMyAdmin is available and you should consider upgrading. The newest version is 3.4.4, released on 2011-08-24."
and the apache error log states a python version mismatch

Sir, we are aware of all the updates. Expect it by this week.
And XDebug can be installed on Ampps normally.
1. Download latest version of XDebug VC9 build from:
http://xdebug.org/download.php
Note: Before Downloading, check the active version of php.
2. Copy it to extension folder of php.
(e.g C:\Ampps\php\ext\php_xdebug-2.1.2-5.3-vc9.dll)
Add the following line to your php.ini:
zend_extension = path/to/php/ext/php_xdebug-*-*-*.dll
( e.g zend_extension = C:\Ampps\php\ext\php_xdebug-2.1.2-5.3-vc9.dll )
OR
You can also follow this link for installation steps:
http://www.xdebug.org/find-binary.php
This link needs phpinfo details, Open Command Prompt and type:
["path/to/Ampps/php/php.exe" -c "path/to/Ampps/apache/php.ini" -i > C:\phpinfo.txt] and press enter.
Open C:\phpinfo.txt and copy the contents to the provided link. Rest installation steps can be found on the link.
