My site down each few days

to make the site live again, i need to run this ssh command to open webuzo page : service webuzo restart

and do restart in Services page, like Bind & Mysql


its there a way to make the services auto restart if down, maybe like automagically restart in cpanel or to make the site & webuzo not down often



my vps details
+ 4 vCPU Cores

+ 30 GB Disk Space Storage (Hardware RAID10)

+ 1GB Guaranteed RAM + 1.2 GB vSwap

For the Webuzo service, execute the following two commands

chkconfig webuzo off

chkconfig webuzo on

The above command should start the Webuzo service on boot.

For the services like MySQL, Bind, etc, Webuzo checks every 8 mins and restarts them if not running. You should not face this issue.
Could you monitor the resources usage while the services get shut down ??

the site down again right now, but can open webuzo page

in Services page only BIND that is down

i tried run this ssh command
chkconfig webuzo off
chkconfig webuzo on
but BIND still down, not running

Execute the following command

service named restart

This restarts the Bind service..

chkconfig named off
chkconfig named on

You should not face this issue again on reboot.

the website still get down again today

so i need to restart bind again

are you sure the services checks every 8 mins and restarts them if not running? how to check it works?

You must be running out of resources at that point restricting the process from starting.
Could you confirm that ??

Shut a service from the command line

service named restart

Check after 10 mins. The service should be up and running by itself.
