Hi..

I installed SA on my servers, and got:

Code
Congratulations, Softaculous was installed successfully
Softaculous has been installed at:
Path : /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous
Scripts Path : /var/softaculous

I then saw that it was showing a message that it fetched two softs, but
nothing was shown as loading, so I closed the window (which left lot of
softwares not to be installed). I then noticed on another installation
that I should have left that open until

Code
"Completed updating the files. Go back to Sofwares"
.

I think you should put something more visible saying the user that it's
installing sofwares... So after this I said, "OK. I need to
update/fetch that softwares"..

So I went to update, and saw that it showed me I was on the last
version. I went to "Softwares" and saw that all the "Installed" boxes
were ticked. I had to click on "Update Settings" and then it started
checking if all the softs were installed, and the ones that were not
installed, were then downloaded...

-I recommend you to add a "Status" or something to let the user know when it's installing/updating something..

-I also recommend you to do something better with the "Softwares"
page.. Maybe so that it checks & shows if it's installed or not (if
it's installed, which version is installed), and to show if it isn't
installed... And also show a status or something to let users know of the status of the updates...

Regards,

-Federico.

Hi alons,
Thanks for adding my suggestion, about the script version installed and the latest  one available on the "Softwares" page.
One good thing is if you could make the ones that need to be updated more visible within the other ones. I mean, there is a huge list of scripts, and if one needs an update isn't too visible.
So if you could make it so that the ones that need to be updated are shown with a red font, or bold.. That would be great! :) .

Regards,
Federico.

Will be done.
Just one note though
As and Admin you really dont need to look into Softaculous that much as Softaculous has CRON Jobs and should do everything Automatically.

Alons
