We are evaluating Virtualizor to provide us the infrastructure for our dedicated cloud. We are moving from AWS to our own servers and hoping to use Virtualizor to replicate some of the functionality. We will use KVM hypervisor.
We have around 15 VMs which we will run in 2 nodes. Most of these VMs run in the private subnets with no inbound requests. We run a VM with a VPN server to acces these servers.
So in AWS we have a subnet with VMs inside it (eg 10.0.1.1/24) and a NAT VM provides access from these servers to the internet (sometimes required for updates only). These servers do not reieve requests from the internet.
We are not running a hosting compnay - we will be the only users of all the servers.
My questions
1) Can we set up 1 master and 1 slave with a shared internal IP pool?
2) Will the serves on the "shared" ip pool be able to communicate across nodes?
3) Do we need 2 NICs per node to be able to have an internal IP pool?
